Phew! It's almost the end of semester (exactly one week left) and I finally have the time to blog again. When you adjust yourself to new system, your mind and body become preoccupied with the new information, so not much space left to process other things. I'm not a good multi-tasker. Now you know.

Anyway, today update after a gazillion years, is about how I do my makeup, if I care, everyday using Nudestix. Not sure if I had blogged about this brand before but I sure fangirl a lot on Instagram. See, the beauty addict world has witnessed lots of trends taking over. Take contouring for example. Looks fairly easy to do but no. Then came crashing in contour palettes, contour brushes, many other sets of brushes that I dont even know how to use but think I need 'em all. Not to mention the wave of eyeshadow palettes ~day to night~ and everything. It's. A. Lot. To. Take.

Then Nudestix proposed that we can sleep extra and still look made up. Ah Ha! And all the products come in pencil forms with its own tin and sharpener. Plus, the Lip + Cheek pencils range from daily neutrals like pinky brown nude / beige nude to reds and berries while the eyeshadow pencils are yummy shades of earthy tones like shimmery champagne, bronze and gold. Mother hell yeah.

So for daily makeup I use:

On days I am lazy, I slapped my face with Josie Maran Daily Moisturizer SPF 47 and done. The moisturizer makes my face feels and looks hydrated. read: glowy dewy. On days I am feeling extra, I ~blend~ BareMinerals Complexion Rescue in Ginger. This stuff is good. I'm on my second tube already.

Then:

NUDESTIX Sculpting Pencil in Medium/Deep // No I still cant contour. And the Deep shade of this pencil supposedly for contour is not that deep either. Plus it's on the warmer side. So I use that for my bronzer. The ritual is the same. Draw on my cheekbones, temples, tip of my nose, chin then blend. The highlight side of the pencil, the Medium one, I draw on my inner corner bridge of my nose, triangle under my eyes then blend. The pencil is sooo sooo sooo creamy my dry skin loves it. Not sure bout oily skin babes. Also, sometimes I use blush, but 9 out of 10 the chances are slim.

NUDESTIX Eyebrow Stylus in Dirty Blonde // Dual ended eyebrow pencil and eyebrow gel. The gel is slightly tinted and hold your eyebrows in shape for as long as you want. I chose a shade lighter than my natural hair color because I dont want the finished look to be too strong. ~natural~ you know. I love the feathered look for eyebrows and the gel is perfect for that.

NUDESTIX Magnetic Eye Color in Gilt (shimmery gold) // The shade perks my eyes up. Like suddenly I am happy and ready to take the world kinda look. Easy to use because it's so creamy but you sorta need to work fast because it sets quite fast and once it sets, it sets. Yep. I just draw few lines all over my lid using the pencil then smudge them while singing the opening credit of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (they alive dammit!). NO stress. NO eyeshadow ~brushes~.

NUDESTIX Lash Lengthening Mascara // Nudestix claims the formula for this mascara will lengthen your lashes naturally over time of usage. I think it's a bit of a long shot because so far I cant tell any difference and I wear this tube every damn day. BUT what I love is that it is so easy to remove, hardly smudged and really lengthens and separates my lashes.

NUDESTIX Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Pencil in Purity // I have their Lip + Cheek pencils in other shades and formula (Sin - Matte, Stiletto - Matte, Mystic - Cream) but I recently got this one and been loving ever since. Soft matte finish, very comfortable on the lips and the shade in particular is a beautiful pinky brown nude. MAJOR crush. I am planning to get Belle, Tamed, Kiss and Entice. Oh God.

So that's all. Girl, you pretty already. For fun & art, yeah go cake on, but for daily? I prefer a few minutes extra for sleep.
